White House Celebration of National Volunteer Week - April 2008

On April 29, 2008, the White House held a celebration for National Volunteer Week in the East Room. President Bush delivered remarks to invited guests including, 33 Peace Corps Trainees, 64 Peace Corps Country Directors, and approximately 100 volunteers from organizations such as Camp Fire USA, Jumpstart, N Street Village, AmeriCorps NCCC, AmeriCorps Vista, Hope Worldwide, Orange County Rescue Mission, and Partners of the Americas.
